What cultural activities are available in Klamath County?

The center of performance culture is the Ross Ragland Theater. The Ragland is a beautiful theater, renovated in the 1930's art deco style. In addition to a wide range of shows, there are also many opportunities to participate. The Missoula Children's Theater is a regular visitor, producing great plays that feature the children of our area. Each year there are new community productions of the world's greatest musicals and the Klamath Symphony performs several times a year.

The Linkville Theater is a much smaller venue with a continuing series of locally produced plays. Whether you'd like to watch or perform, there are plenty of opportunities!

Musical performances are also presented outdoors at Veteran's and Moore Parks in Klamath Falls and on the green at the Running Y Resort.

In addition to the many art galleries in our area, you can see local artists showcased at some unusual places including Pelicans on Parade (in businesses around Klamath Falls), the annual Sagebrush Rendezvous Art Show and the annual Winter Wings Festival.

The Klamath Arts Council brings together the visual and performing arts as well as our museums on the Third Thursday of every summer month in downtown Klamath Falls.
